I am a final-year PhD candidate in Digital Humanities at the University of Antwerp. A software engineer by training, I now work at the Department of Literature, mostly with scholarly editors and medievalists.

My current interests lie in creating tools and web applications to facilitate the use of XML in digital scholarly editing projects, but I’m always down for a new challenge.

I am passionate about Open Source development, writing clean code, and creating modular building blocks that can be used and reused by the community.

I speak Persian and English, plus a little bit of French, Italian, and Dutch. I mostly read and watch in my free time (and spend time logging that on social media).
